During the month of March, Mrs. Gagliardo’s Geometry Honor Class was assigned to create a project that required creativity and precise measurements of the objects. The originality in the class was astonishing, creating things like a towering castle, robot with glowing eyes or even the amusing SpongeBob. Students used their creativity skills along with the lesson they learned about surface area and volume. As the class presented their creations they also voted on the best ones. A project like that is defiantly beneficial in the student’s academic lives. Not only it lets them use their creativity and endure the lesson they just learned, putting it into a real life situation but also it gets them relaxed out of the ordinary sitting in the classroom habitat.
Congrats to the winners!
